On Saturday 13 June, the square of the Muzisch Centrum will turn into a lively cultural festival area. The cultural event Art Square offers performances, workshops, art stalls and activities for young and old. Visitors can immerse themselves in the programme between 12:00 and 17:00.
Stage full of talent
Spread across several stages, students, teachers, bands, orchestras and associations perform. These include performances by the Piu Mosso Orchestra, percussion group Flevo Sticks and new collaborations such as Impro Skey with strings, Boreas with Il Flauti and the Teachers' Band. Theatre groups and ballet students will also show what they have been working on over the past year.
There are also performances by Musica Mundi, Echo der Golven, Melodia, Ultrabeats, Scrambled, Pauline van de Haar, Daan Hoeksema, Melita & Kristando, En Bloc, La Mascotte, DemonHunters and various brass, piano and vocal students of the Muzisch Centrum, among others.

Stroll along market stalls
At the culture market, artists, associations and organisations from the region showcase their work and activities. Visitors can stroll past stalls with ceramics, glassware, illustrations, photography, paintings and sustainable home accessories. Various organisations will also be present, including Theatre 't Voorhuys, Museum Schokland, the Cultural Historical Centre and Kunstuitleen Emmeloord.
Participate and discover yourself
There are various activities for children and adults to get creative themselves. These include an open stage for classical students, theatre performances by young and old, and reading from art books at the Art Loan. Visitors can also find out about the wide range of activities offered by the Music Centre.

Art Square is freely accessible. Come by bike, as the car park is closed due to the festival.
