SchoklandMaster storytellers Kaatje and Maatje (Katiuscia Principato and Mariska Simon) bring Marjet Huiberts’s fantastic stories to life. The stories have been set to music by Rogier Bosman (known from Släpstick).
With plenty of humour, vocal feats, farmers, farts and barrels of rum, the pirate ship full of men is brought to life by two women. A musical family show that’ll have you licking your fingers. Because you’re allowed to do that when you’re a pirate!
Even if you’re like Jan-without-a-hand, Joop-wooden-leg, Goof-without-an-eye or Floor-without-an-ear, theatre is for everyone! On request, the performance can be provided with a sign language interpreter and/or a guide for the blind.
Throughout Pirate Day, there will be plenty for children to do on the museum grounds. The children’s afternoon begins at 11.30 am with the performance of *Aadje Piraatje*. Admission is free with the purchase of a museum ticket. Booking a ticket is compulsory.
