EmmeloordPieperfestival has been an accessible, sociable and connecting festival for residents, visitors, entrepreneurs and associations from the region for years. Fun activities for all ages are organised on Horecaplein De Deel in the centre of Emmeloord, but there are also fun things to do and see further afield on Kettingplein.
The day on which the Pieperfestival takes place is an important and unifying moment for the whole region. On the same day, the Fish Potato Run and Pieperpop also take place. Together, these three events form a unique and comprehensive programme packed with sport, music, culture and conviviality – showcasing Emmeloord and the Noordoostpolder at their very best. The Pieperfestival and the Fish Potato Run take place during the day, whilst Pieperpop takes place in the evening, both on 11 September (the 0.0 version) and on 12 September (the 18+ version).
