Search for water creatures

During Uit-jeTent Festival, all kinds of fun and interesting activities are organised at various locations in the Noordoostpolder . One such activity is tracking down water creatures in the Kuinderbos. This activity is aimed at children from 6 to 12 years old.

Come with your children to the Uit-jeTent festival and search for water creatures. Armed with buckets, magnifying glasses and landing nets, you set off with a guide from the Forestry Commission. There are pools at the Kuinderplas, where you will search for marine life: catching tadpoles, or perhaps its enemy: the yellow-edged water beetle! Using search cards, you can find out for yourself what you have caught. Of course, the guide will give you a hand if necessary.
