In Museum Nagele's space for temporary exhibitions, you can admire Bert Hermans' paintings and Fieke Hordijk's spatial work from 16 April to 28 June. The name of this exhibition is 'In Perspective'.
As a painter, Bert Hermans is inspired by architecture, especially industrial and cultural heritage. With his oil paintings, he likes to draw the viewer's attention to a reality that cannot be seen at first sight. His style is realistic, but he avoids photorealism. Through use of colour and light, Bert aims to make his paintings a special experience. Dark desolation gives way to light and warmth.

Fieke Hordijk has been making artworks based on themes that occupy her since 1983, such as people, dance, nature and music. Her sculptures and wall objects are mostly made of brass or copper, which she sometimes oxidises, creating natural tones. When Fieke started playing a musical instrument again, music proved to be a great source of inspiration for her. She captures the energy, vitality and power of music in images. Through the QR codes, shown with the works, you can hear which music from Bach to Coltrane gave rise to the created work.
Of course, after or prior to the changing exhibition, you can also view Museum Nagele's permanent exhibition. This exhibition focuses on Nagele's genesis and its unique place in the architectural history of the Netherlands. The story of designers of the Nieuwe Bouwen movement, such as Rietveld, Merkelbach and Van Eyck, plays an important role.
