EmmeloordOn Friday 10 July from 10:00 to 16:00, Groeizaam Farm in Emmeloord is organising a fun Harvest Festival for young and old alike. Admission is free.
Visitors can dig up their own potatoes and onions, pick flowers in the colourful pick-your-own flower garden and, between 10.00 and 15.00, enjoy live music from Jules and Paul (Publiners). There will also be various stalls featuring creative craftspeople, delicacies, natural products and plants from the food forest.
The organic farm shop, open from 09:00 to 17:30, offers a range of tastings. A wide selection of organic produce is available here, including fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products and various non-perishable items. Fresh chips made from the farm’s own potatoes are also on sale during the harvest festival.
There are various activities for children, making the harvest festival a fun day out for the whole family. Everyone is warmly welcome to celebrate the harvest together and enjoy everything Groeizaam Farm has to offer.
