Summer fun in the Waterloopbos

Meet the forest ranger in the Waterloopbos on Saturday 22 August between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm. Take part in the Stekelrace, create a nature painting and ask the forest ranger all your questions.

Summer is in full swing. On Saturday 22 August, we’re heading out into the Waterloopbos. From 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, the forest rangers will be on hand at Het ProefLab// with all sorts of fun OERRR activities.

Why not come and pick up a stamp card and have a go at the hedgehog race? The forest ranger will tell you all about the unique natural environment in the Waterloopbos. Finally, you can create a lovely nature painting and have a great time playing at the water playground.

Who, what and where?

• children aged between 4 and 12 and their parents/carers
• Waterloopbos; starts at Het ProefLab//
• Saturday 22 August 2026
• between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm
• OERRR members: free; non-members €2.50. If you sign up as an OERRR member with the forest ranger on the spot, you’ll receive a lovely goodie bag.
