Building rafts

During Uit-jeTent Festival, all kinds of fun and interesting activities are organised at various locations in the Noordoostpolder . One such activity is raft building at the Kuinderplas in the Kuinderbos, on Saturday 6 June from 13:00 and again from 15:00.

Challenge yourself and come build a raft during the Uit-jeTent Festival in the Kuinderbos. With good cooperation and a good dose of creativity you will get a long way, and if not, the ranger will be there to help you. The materials are ready for you: wooden poles, plastic drums and ropes. Once ready, you launch your raft and it's time for a little sailing competition!

A few practical items:

• Age: from 7 years.
• Dress for the weather and bring a towel.
• Please note: swimming certificate required.
• Not suitable for people with physical disabilities due to access via a narrow forest path and a piece of grassland.
• Dogs not allowed.
• Maximum 16 people at a time. Full = full.
