The Kabouterpad is a path especially for children living or visiting Rutten. Along the way, they encounter all kinds of obstacles that they have to overcome. But they can also play games and even read a book there.
Children walking the trail can jump on sawn-off tree trunks, balance on branches and read a book in the free forest library. Along the way, they will come across all kinds of signs with a story on them. That story is about gnomes Ruth and Ruben, who are looking for a place to live with their gnome friends.
So do your kids feel like going on an adventure...

So do your kids feel like going on an adventure in the Noordoostpolderder? Then put on their boots and visit the Gnome Path in Rutten! The path starts at the car park of Het Klavier on Sportweg 52a. You can't miss the mushroom gate there. From there, gnomes Ruth and Ruben will take you into their story and you will meet all of their gnome friends along the way.
End your adventure on the Gnome Path at the photo opportunity, where children can pose for a fun photo with a wooden mushroom. Fun for later, but also to share via the socials of ruttennop, the party that built the Gnome Path and likes to see who all enjoys it.
