The Noordoostpolder is rich in a large number of different farms. The 45-kilometre 'Boerderijenroute' takes you past different types of farms, through a varied polder landscape and right through the Voorster forest.
Don't have your own bike (with you)? Then pick up a shared bike at the starting point of the route, next to the Emmeloord bus station. With that, you can ride the entire route, but you could also ride as far as Van Saaze in Kraggenburg and return your shared bike at the bike hub located there. After a snack or drink at Van Saaze, you then catch the bus back to where you came from.
