The Noordoostpolder is a special area on former seabed. Besides its rich history, this polder has beautiful forest areas, wonderful fields and unique world heritage. This cycle route goes through a new piece of land, less than 100 years old. Noordoostpolder, reclaimed from clay, reclaimed in September 1942.
