In the Voorster forest around play meadow and recreation park de Voorst, you can take your dog for a nice walk through the woods, play and run together. Do keep your dog under control in connection with other walkers, dogs and wild animals.
Nature-friendly banks have been constructed across the Zwolse Vaart canal. These are less steep, allowing bank and water plants to develop well. Fish use shallow banks for spawning. And the otter could easily find a spot here too. So keep your eyes peeled as you walk along the canal.
