Pegasushof tuin (garden)

This beautiful garden was once a farmhouse garden, just like most of the gardens in the polder from the 1950s. This 4000m2 garden has been laid out once again. The structure of the garden is dictated by the straight lines of the yew and box hedges, and the ponds, one of which has a modern terrace. Inspiration was gained from gardens in England and later on in the Netherlands. There are windbreaks around the garden to protect it from the frequent strong winds. The terrace and the ponds by the house were constructed in collaboration with Marcel Bellert, landscape gardener.
