Cosy accommodation in the heart of Emmeloord for the night? That’s possible at the Hotel Restaurant Grandcafé ’t Voorhuys close to the main shopping street De Lange Nering. Prefer a quieter location? Then visit one of the rural villages. In Kraggenburg there is Hotel van Saaze at a stone’s throw from the Voorsterbos woods. Or Hotel Van der Valk Emmeloord, close to the A6 motorway.

“ SLEEP LIKE A BABY ”
Glamping, back to basic, setting up your tent in the yard of a farm or something in between? The Noordoostpolder is a true campers’ paradise. Have a look at e.g. Camping De Voorst in the Voorsterbos woods. And what about camping at the natural campsite De Veenkuil in the Kuinderbos woods, where you can make a bonfire with new you collected yourself.

With a camper van, you can often stay at a campsite, but we also have several camper van sites in the Noordoostpolder, where you won't be surrounded by tents and caravans. We highly recommend Camperplaats – Afslag Nagele: peace, space and a touch of luxury on a farmyard. But you can also visit Motor Home Site Emmeloord, Motor Home Site De Stronk in Bant and Camper van site Schokland, between Ens and Schokland.
In our bed & breakfasts you can recharge. In nature, in town, luxurious or simple; there is undoubtedly something you will like among the options. For example, in Ens there is B&B De Pipowagen, where you can sleep in a gypsy wagon, take a dip in the wood-fired jacuzzi or warm up in the sauna.

A weekend away with friends, family, your company or care institution? In the Noordoostpolder there are various group accommodations on offer. The Scandinavian group houses at Netl De Wildste Tuin in the middle of nature, for example. Gastvrij Schokland also comes highly recommended. In this mansion you can bathe in luxury and there’s a stunning view of the World Heritage Site Schokland.
