From the De Wipkip restaurant, turn right towards Kuinre. Upon reaching the Hopweg, turn left and immediately left again onto the concrete cycling path and follow the directions of "burcht" / "kuinderbos route". Upon reaching cycling hub 24, turn right and follow the signs for cycling hub 46.
The cycle route through the Kuinderbos woods is mainly on concrete path. The route will take you past the Kuinderburcht fortress. Kuinderburcht is actually the name for two adjacent fortresses near Kuinre, located near Luttelgeest.

Continue your trip onto the 'old' land and you will pass small villages such as Slijkenburg, Ossenzijl and Blankenham.
Orchid Nursery
At the end of the route you can visit Orchideeën Hoeve, the orchid nursery, where you can experience an 'around the world in one day' trip via their various gardens, such as the Lori garden, the Butterfly garden or the Mangrove forest. A great way to round off this cycling tour.

Don’t forget to purchase some fresh fruit in the Hoekstra and Verhage farm shops, located at the end of the cycling route on the Oosterringweg.
