People love to cycle in the Noordoostpolder, passing all kinds of sights and activities along the way. But sometimes you need something practical along the way: a toilet, a tyre repair kit or a charger for your electric bike. Or maybe you want shelter from rain or sun, or you are thirsty and want to refill your water bottle.
Especially for these, bicycle break points are set up at various locations throughout Flevoland: places where such facilities are made available selflessly. In the introductory year of these cycle break points, you will find three in the Noordoostpolder, but more cycle break points will undoubtedly be added soon. You will recognise each cycle break point by the sign by the road. Below you will find them by name and location on the map of the Noordoostpolder.
Flevoland's cycle break points are specially designed to make things easy for cyclists. You can catch your breath, make repairs to your bike and take shelter from rain, wind or sun. The entrepreneurs with a bicycle break point on their premises welcome you, whether you have a flat tyre or a flat battery on your e-bike or just want to rest and use the toilet. Maybe you are thirsty or need a plaster. For that, every cycle break point has a water tap and a first aid kit. So if you see a bike break point sign along the road, feel welcome to use the facilities provided.
