As well as the accommodation options mentioned above, the Noordoostpolder offers another truly unique place to stay: the Uit-jeTent Festival. This is an annual multi-day festival, held in early June, featuring all sorts of activities at and around various unique camping sites. Whether you prefer luxury or basic camping, and whether or not you have your own tent, campervan or caravan, during Uit-jeTent you’ll stay in places where people don’t usually sleep, such as on a golf course, on the beach, in a vineyard, at a racecourse, in a fruit orchard or in a museum garden.
