Luxury camping, back to basics, pitching your tent at a farmer's yard or something in between? The Noordoostpolder is a true camping paradise. For example, take a look at Camping De Voorst in the Voorsterbos. And how about camping at nature campsite De Veenkuil in the Kuinderbos, where you can still light fires with wood you have gathered yourself. The choice is vast when you are looking for a campsite in the Noordoostpolder.

Or, if you are looking for a little more peace and quiet, in a holiday home that is not on a park. We have various types of 'cottages' in the Noordoostpolder , both small-scale and on a (somewhat larger) holiday park: chalets, lodges, safari tents, converted containers and even a bird house. You can often take a campervan to a campsite, but we also have several camper sites in the Noordoostpolder , where you are not surrounded by tents and caravans. We highly recommend Camperplaats - Afslag Nagele: tranquillity, space and a touch of luxury on a farm. But you can also visit Camperplaats Emmeloord, Camperplaats & Activiteitenveld De Stronk in Bant and Camperplek Schokland, between Ens and Schokland.

In our bed & breakfasts, it is nice to recharge. In nature, in the city, luxurious or simple; there is bound to be something for you. In Ens, for example, we have B&B De Pipowagen, where you sleep in a gypsy wagon, take a dip in the wood-fired Jacuzzi or warm up in the sauna. The real peace seeker chooses sleeping on the dike: a tiny house on top of the dike, a kilometre away from the nearest farm and right next to landscape artwork PIER + HORIZON. Small but fully equipped, you will spend the night here and learn all about this special place.

A weekend trip with friends, family, your company or care institution? There are several group accommodations in the Noordoostpolder . The Scandinavian group houses at Netl & Camping Kallumaan in the middle of nature, for example. Gastvrij Schokland is also highly recommended. In this country house with space for 48 people, you are bathed in luxury and also have a wonderful view of the World Heritage Site Schokland. Is your group even larger? In Marknesse you will find the two group accommodations OudLand and NieuwLand, which combined under the name Suyderzee can accommodate up to 57 guests.
