Virtually all the routes on this website come with a map showing the route marked out, as well as a GPX file, which you can use to follow the route via a navigation app on your phone. The ‘Nature Secrets’ podwalk by Natuurmonumenten does not include these, but it is certainly worth mentioning here nonetheless. The podwalk was developed to allow visitors to experience the Waterloopbos in a different way. During your walk, you’ll hear about what took place in this forest during the era of hydrological research and how the researchers used to live and work here.
