Accessibility statement

In the technical development of this website by Insiders, its realisation based on Plaece and its filling with text and images by Visit Flevoland on behalf of Visit Noordoostpolder , much attention is paid to accessibility and findability. We like to present all information on this website in such a way that everyone can easily view and use it.

Parts where the website is not yet satisfactory

We are aware that not all parts of our website are yet sufficiently accessible. Examples are:

  • Most of our link texts are not descriptive, which hinders users with disabilities, such as those using screen readers, from understanding the context and purpose of the link. We will make all links on this website descriptive in the near future.
  • Most videos and some forms are displayed via an iFrame, which are a barrier for users of assistive technologies, such as screen readers. They can also cause problems with navigation, We will look for an alternative way to display the relevant videos and forms.
  • Most of the videos on this website are not audio-descripted, which excludes the blind and visually impaired in particular from understanding and experiencing the visual content. We plan to provide all these videos with audio description as yet.
