Hey, pssst, kids! Did you know there’s loads to get up to here? If you love getting dirty on a mud slide, discovering new things, going on an adventure in a jungle garden or climbing and scrambling, then you’ve come to the right place! It’s great fun to do with your parents or grandparents. Or with your friends.

Outdoors with children

Are you planning a day out in the Noordoostpolder with children? Then let them play outdoors to their heart’s content – we’ve got plenty of space for that. At Netl, they can climb, scramble and slide down the mud track to their heart’s content. Would they rather race each other on go-karts? Or are they brave enough to tackle a wobbly obstacle course? Then the Buitengewoon de Voorst playground is the ideal day out for them. If your children are animal lovers, a trip to Emmelerbos Children’s Farm or Z!N Care and Children’s Farm is a must. And if the weather’s really too nasty to play outside? Then take them on an adventure through the indoor jungle at Pantropica.

There is also a lovely petting farm in Luttelgeest: Z!N Care and Petting Farm. Just like the one in Emmeloord, the animals here are (partly) looked after by clients of a care home. A bit too adventurous for them? Then there’s also a lovely playground next to the Z!N & ZOET restaurant, from where you can keep an eye on the children whilst enjoying a nice drink.
