The Noordoostpolder , for instance, is a great area to discover by bike. Sometimes with the wind in your face, sometimes with the wind at your back. But always on level ground and with panoramic views.

    Rather go for a walk? We have beautiful walking routes ready for you, which will lead you along beautiful places. Through the Kuinderbos for example or around Museum Schokland. Want to take a refreshing dip? Come and swim at our beaches and recreational lakes. With a bit of luck, you might run into a duck or coot while swimming your laps.

      Our museums

      If you are looking for some quieter entertainment, our museums such as on World Heritage Site Schokland are highly recommended. And have you been to the flat-roofed village of Nagele , for example? The work of famous architect Gerrit Rietveld is still kept alive here.
