Scattered throughout the Noordoostpolder you’ll find cosy restaurants and cafés, but if you want to go to the theatre, the cinema or the casino, you really do need to head to Emmeloord. Handy: all three are right next to each other, so you don’t have to decide until you’re there...

Theatre 't Voorhuys

Theatre 't Voorhuts offers a varied programme of performances: from cabaret to classical music and from plays to theatre concerts. There is a main auditorium with a capacity of 520 people and a smaller auditorium that can be arranged as required to accommodate up to 180 seated guests or up to 500 standing guests. You can enjoy a drink in the foyer before the performance, during the interval or afterwards.
