Fancy a bite to eat or a drink on a terrace? The Noordoostpolder has some lovely places to eat and drink in a variety of locations.

In the centre of Emmeloord, for example, there’s Brasserie AanDeel or Grandcafé 't Voorhuys, and just outside the town on the Urkervaart, there’s the eatery Chillers. There are also charming culinary gems to be found outside Emmeloord, such as Het Strandpaviljoen on Netl beach in Kraggenburg and FENN’s restaurant on the edge of the Kuinderbos. Looking for a cosy village restaurant? Then why not pop into De Goede Aanloop in Tollebeek or De Pionier in Marknesse.
