Discover how much fun language can be
During ‘Playing with Language’, you can not only play a fun card or board game, but we also engage with language in all sorts of different ways. For example, one time you might control a robot, and another time you might go on a treasure hunt through the library. Every month, we get creative and challenge ourselves with language in different ways. It doesn’t matter how good your Dutch is; by playing with language together, we can actually learn from one another. The games are aimed at children aged 6–10, but would you like to bring along a parent, sibling, grandparent or neighbour to play with language together? We’d love that.
Practical Information
‘Playing with Language’ takes place every second Tuesday of the month at the library in Emmeloord. Children and their carers of all language levels are welcome. The activity is free to attend; no booking is required.
