SchoklandOn Saturday 20 June, the exhibition RUUM op Schokland opens at Museum Schokland, in a precast concrete barn within the World Heritage Site. 100 young people from Flevoland, together with artists Stieneke Oeverbeek and Patriek Leichtenberg, have created one large art installation on the theme of ‘the other’. The installation explores how people live together, are remembered and how they leave their mark on the landscape.

The exhibition is part of the four-year youth project RUUM (a made-up word for ‘space’), a collaboration between Jij bent M., Museum Batavialand and Museum Schokland.
