Creative in the library
Every first Friday of the month from 13:30 to 15:30, you can visit the library in Emmeloord to get started on a quilting project you have brought along. Patchwork and quilting are centuries-old craft methods in which small pieces of fabric are sewn together to form a beautiful whole. Alongside old traditions, new techniques, patterns and vibrant colours make quilting totally contemporary.
The Quilt Café is not a course, but a meeting place where everyone is busy with their own work. Whoever feels like it, joins in. There is always an experienced quilter on hand to give advice or help others along the way - everyone is welcome!
