FlevolandThe residents of Flevoland come from all over. What unites them is a shared future. Rooted in a pioneering past, they are continuing to build together. In the concert-lecture *Old Sea, New Land*, historian Eva Vriend, soprano Klaartje van Veldhoven and accordionist Renée Bekkers bring the inspiring history of Flevoland to life.
Literary and historical recitals are interspersed with (classical) songs, accompanied by the flowing sounds of the accordion. ‘Old Sea, New Land’ is a unique crossover of literature, history and music.
Eva Vriend and her team are taking a tour of the Zuiderzee with their lectures. To mark the 40th anniversary of the province of Flevoland, they are visiting all six municipalities and the water board. Some venues have limited capacity, so a ticket is required. Each performance lasts 75 minutes.
