The Emmelerbos is a wooded area on the outskirts of the city of Emmeloord, where you will find various attractions. For instance, Camping Het Bosbad is located here, as are Manege Emmelerbos, the Draf- en Renbaan Emmeloord, the Food Forest and Children's Farm Emmelerbos. You will also find several sports grounds, such as the athletics track of AV NOP. The football fields of FlevoBoys and SCE Emmeloord border the woods.
The Emmelerbos lies between Espelerlaan and Lemstervaart, intersected by Banterweg. You can enjoy walking there, with or without your (leashed) dog, cycling (there is a cycle junction in the woods) and running. There are so many paths to the left and to the right that you can even get temporarily lost. But fortunately, a familiar point always pops up, so you know where you are again.
