Kadoelerveld
Next to the Kadoeler forest and enclosed by its trees is the Kadoelerveld. These former agricultural fields were transformed into nature areas a few years ago. This new nature, with ponds and marshy lowlands, forms a transition from the Kadoeler forest to the open polder landscape. Plants and animals already living in the Voorsterbos are thus given a larger habitat and can better maintain and spread. And with success: the kingfisher is now regularly spotted here! A herd of Scottish Highlanders also lives here. Very impressive to see at such close quarters!
