The blossom route can be found in the southeast of Noordoostpolder. This beautiful route goes right through the blossom area and is of course at its best in spring when the fruit trees are in full bloom.
In spring, you will be short of eyes to see all the beauty. The fruit trees blossom in March, April and May, (not all at the same time, by the way). First the snow-white cherry and plum blossoms form, followed by the equally white pear blossom and finally the pink apple blossom. April is also called blossom month for this reason.
In autumn, this route is also great for cycling as you can see and hear the apples, pears, plums and cherries growing on the trees, so to speak. At some farms, you can even SELF the fruit!

The route continues past meadows and forests, where you can admire many meadow and water birds, such as lapwings, moorhens, mallards and fishing herons.
Starting point is at Vink Fruit Farm, where you can park your car and also charge your electric bike. Drive down the farmyard and turn left towards cycle junction 38. And then follow the cycle junction.
