In addition to the beautiful fruit trees, this route will also lead you past Paul de Korte's landscape artwork PIER+HORIZON. Cycle down the plot path towards the dike and enjoy the beautiful view of the artwork.

The route starts at the TOP (Tourist Transfer Point) in the national monument the Waterloopbos. Here you can park your car (for a fee). In the adjacent Pavilion Het ProefLab// you can enjoy a cup of coffee and/or lunch.
Don't have your own bike (with you)? Then start your route at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant just down the road, as there is a share bike hub there, where you can pick up an electric share bike and return and pay for it after your bike ride. By the way, you can also choose to cycle only half the route and return your shared bike at the shared bike hub at Van Saaze in Kraggenburg. Handy if you've parked your car in Marknesse, but handy when you've come by public transport.
From TOP turn right onto Voorsterweg, from there turn right onto Repelweg - 34-14-38-5-22-54-81-95-38-3-64-49-30-90-78- then turn right onto Marisstraat, turn left via LA D.P.A. Weeversstraat and Voorsterweg finally turn right again to TOP
