PLEASE NOTE: the gpx route you can download here is intended for cyclists and also differs slightly from the route you find on the printed leaflet, as cycling is no longer allowed on some roads in the Waterloopbos these days, and there is also a handy cycle ferry that connects the Waterloopbos with the Voorsterbos.
Kraggenburg is a true recreational village surrounded by beautiful forests and nature reserves. The attractive surroundings invite you to take varied cycling routes along the many well-maintained cycle paths. Alternately, you ride through the forest, over the dike along the water with a view of the old land, over the Oud-Kraggenburg mound, along the vast fields or between the highlanders on the Kadoelerveld. Take a trip to the pioneer museum, the playground or the beach.
There is something fun for all ages along the route, making it suitable for families, groups, as well as seniors, (experienced) cyclists and walkers. You decide how long the route takes and where to get off.
By the way, don't have your own bike (with you)? No problem. Just grab an electric share bike from the hub at Van Saaze. You can return it there afterwards and pay for the time you used it.
